Dost AIA January 2010 The New Year is off to a definitive start as world events continue to bring us together as an organization and as a larger community. Now more than ever, our efforts and member involvement are essential for the success of our profession and our Chapter. I thank you again for the opportunity to spearhead AIA Monterey Bay's 2010 outreach, and encourage you to take an active role as we shape and promote events, programs, and advances in sustainable design and construction. Following are key areas of focus for the coming year: - Encourage meaningful involvement by Chapter Members - Create exciting programs and building tours - Organize internal affairs
- Promote sustainable events and activities - Encourage legislative involvement
- Promote architecture among youth - Retain and promote new sponsors As always, your input is extremely valued. Please feel free to give me a call or send me a note with your ideas and suggestions.
